Lisa Michelle Cornelius is a Toronto-based actor & singer, with an international career in theatre, television, music & film.
Her television credits include The Handmaid's Tale (Bravo/Hulu), American Gothic (CBS), Black Mirror (Netflix) and the feature film Flint, starring Queen Latifah and directed by Bruce Beresford (Double Jeopardy, Roots).
As a stage performer, Lisa Michelle had the pleasure of being cast in the first US national tour of the musical Godspell (Moonglow Prod./ Drayton Ent.). She also performed as a shapeshifter in the acapella musical Obeah Opera; a Nicole Brooks production about the Salem Witch Trials from the unique perspective of enslaved women.
Lisa Michelle's artistic voice is also expressed as a songwriter and recording artist. She has two independently-released R&B albums (This Moment and Love Lessons), and has performed her original music at music festivals across Canada including Canadian Music Week, Irie Music Fest and the world-renowned Montreal Jazz Festival.
Always in motion, Lisa Michelle co-produces and performs in "Influenced Tribute Shows" multiple times a year. It's a concert series and show-for-hire that pays homage to R&B, Neo Soul & Jazz artists of the past & present.
