Lisa Michelle is a 360 degree artist. She's steadily carving her path on stage, screen and in recording studios, making R&B music with heart and ingenuity.
As a recording artist, Lisa Michelle released two albums (Rebound and Love Lessons) in February 2011 by way of a sold-out CD Release concert at The Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. By October of the same year, she released Cross My Mind, the Neo-SoulHop single produced by Juno-nominated producer and recording artist Silver Roland. She frequently performs her original music with the band Thank The Academy at venues in and around the city of Toronto.
Her passion for performance has manifested opportunities outside the booth as well, including an actor role on the UPN drama Kevin Hill, the role of Darlene Love in Encore Entertainments Leader of the Pack, and in 2009, she formed See Saw Live Productions with a fellow performing artist and friend. See Saw Live gives local musicians, spoken word artists, writers and actors an audience and a stage on which to share their art by way of showcases and audience-interactive competitions.
This coming February 2012, Lisa Michelle will take to the musical theatre stage as part of the chorus in Nicole Brooks "Obeah Opera", a production by B Current Theatre and Theatre Archipelago.
